Comments: Brian had such a short month to be featured in February, we decided to give him the spotlight for another month!

Brian has been looking for his forever home for a while!! Could you be that home?

Brian came to us from a group in Arizona who had tried for a year to place him. They thought a new environment might give him the best shot at finding his forever home. So he came to GPI and we so want to find him that wonderful home.

So, why hasn't Brian been able to find his forever home so far? He needs to be an only dog. We know there are quite a few folks that just want one dog. Could Brian be the one?

Here's some more info about Brian:

Brian is one handsome boy! He's an average sized male and has the softest coat.

We just love this boy!!! He's sweet, friendly and affectionate and just loves people. He has an easy going personality and has been very easy to handle around the kennel. He's just a great companion. He loves walks and running in the yard. Brian walks well on leash and rides well in the car. Brian doesn't bark very often, but when he does it is a wonderful deep bark. He knows how to do stairs and is fine on smooth floors. He loves to play with toys. He's calm around loud noises and not much seems to phase this boy. The person or family that welcomes this boy into their home will be blessed with a truly wonderful, loving companion.

Brian needs a home without any other animals and we would not recommend him for a home with young children. He does need an experienced owner who can be pack leader.

Brian has lived in a couple of foster homes in Arizona. In his last foster home in Arizona he lived with 15 other greyhounds and did well as long as he was muzzled and they fed him separately from the other dogs. The reason he needs to be an only dog is that he can be aggressive about food and sometimes about his space related to other dogs. He is turned out at our kennel with another dog (female) and does well with her and seems to enjoy the company during turnout. He can be out and about with other large dogs (such as on walks), he just can't live with them.

Come and spend some time with Brian; you won't be disappointed!! Help us find Brian his forever home!!
