Comments: Clark is a friendly, happy boy. That tail of his always seems to be on the
go. He loves human companionship and loves to please you. Clark loves his walks. He sometimes
starts out pulling a little, but soon settles down and walks well on leash. He is a higher
energy boy and does need daily exercise. Right now we walk 1.5 to 2 miles a day, 6 days a
week. He also gets playtime in the yard. Clark would make a good jogging companion if you
are that way inclined.
He loves car rides and rides
well in the car. Clark jumps right in and usually lies down.
Clark is very good around the
house. He's very well behaved and he's not a counter surfer. We have a dog door and he
loves the freedom to come and go as he pleases. Clark would do best in a house with a yard
rather than an apartment or condo. His foster mom leaves him for 5 or 6 hours a day
several days a week and he has free run of the house, muzzled, with the other dogs in his
foster home.
Toys are a favorite of Clark's.
He loves to play with a ball in the yard. He also loves the stuffed toys, but you have to
watch out for the squeekies as he likes to remove these from the toys and can chew and
swallow them if you aren't watching carefully.
Clark is an excellent kisser
and loves to lean in for loves and give kisses, so look out. He puts the front part of his
body on the bed every morning and leans in for snuggles and loving. He is a great meeter
and greeter, although you have to watch out - his kisses can get a little exuberant J
Clark would prefer a home where
there is a canine companion. He would prefer a home without kitties, but he does do ok
with most smaller dogs.
Clark loves kids and seems to
do well with all ages, although his exuberance may be too much for some of the younger
kids.
He knows several commands: Sit,
Down, Off, Wait, Leave It, Out.
