Dog with Jag is not Dixie.  It's his foster sister.

Comments: Dixie and Jag are siblings. They have been together since they were puppies and we would like to keep them together. Jag is an absolute love. He is sweet, affectionate and friendly. He is a gentle giant, but is still strong. He is the strong, silent type. Dixie and Jag are a special pair and oh so loving. They will need a home without cats and would prefer a home with a fenced yard (6 foot).  Foster update: Jag is awesome. He has finally started eating dry dog food by itself (only puppy food though... so silly.... but, we figure it might be good to get the extra calories (Jag is on the slim side)). He goes 'potty' on command. His foster home thinks he would be fine with a fence under 6 feet, although we would still recommend 5 foot or taller. He is not a climber or digger. He loves to run!! He is a LOOKER.... no matter where we go, EVERYONE wants to pet him, ask about him, talk about him. He's really tolerant (small dogs/big dogs/doesn't matter) with his tail wagging. He only got snippy once (just growled and snapped his teeth) and the other dog deserved it... she was jumping all over him and wouldn't stop for several minutes. Other than that ONE episode, I've never seen anything but happy go-lucky Jag. He seems to LOVE kids. My friend has 7 of them ranging from 5-23. We took Jag to their house and (as usual) everyone was stuck to him like glue. The 5 & 10 year old were ALL over him .... laying on him, walking him all over the place on the leash. He was in heaven. I could tell because when they unclipped the leash, he still followed them. He's become great on a leash and loves the car (sticks his head out the window the whole time... which just makes everyone on the road point and smile).

Comments: Dixie and Jag are siblings.  They have been together since they were puppies.  We would love to keep them together, but it is not necessary.  They do fine without the other one.  Dixie is sweet, super affectionate and friendly.  She loves to cuddle with you on the couch and thinks she is a lap dog.  She is on the quieter side, but still has a spunky side.  Dixie has climbed a 5 foot chain link fence and dug out underneath that same fence, so she will need a home with a very secure fence or an apartment/condo/townhome.  Dixie will need a home without cats.
