Comments: Returned through no fault of his own, this easy-going senior gentleman is looking for a home of his own for the rest of his life. Twelve years young, Marino walks with a jaunty bounce in his step, gets along wonderfully with cats and dogs of all models. He wants nothing more of life than to curl up on a soft pad next to his owner. Late with chow? Too lazy to take him for a walk? He'll let you know with insistent nuzzling or a sharp bark. Can't teach an old dog new tricks? Marino has mastered doggie doors and slick floors and will snag a treat out of midair with ease. He loves ear rubs and body hugs, has perfect leash manners, and was totally unfazed by a house full of Thanksgiving revelers, including a preschooler and a pair of ex-pound mutts. He lived for years with a Chihuahua, but would do just fine as an only dog, too. This gentle lover would be perfect for an older person or couple in a home without stairs. He'll fill the hole in your heart and reward you with tranquil affection 'til the end of his days.
