Alex loves to play and give kisses. He is a goofy, easy going boy and loves everything and everyone. He loves the stuffies. Alex does have a tendency to jump when he is excited, so he might do best with older children. He is periodically a barker and digger, so he would do best in a home with a yard rather than an apartment. Alex needs a home with another dog and without cats or small dogs. Alex is a tad overweight, so he is on a diet and exercise program. This boy will just warm your heart. Kennel Update: Alex is now trim and slim. He is a fun loving, happy boy. He is very affectionate. Alex needs a home with a good pack leader. Once he knows that he doesn’t have to try and lead he is wonderful. He has done well at turnout with other confident, silly girls. He has been in a home before. He knows how to use the dog door and is very good around the house. He LOVES to go for car rides and loves his walks. He is pretty good on leash, but has to be reminded of his leash manners when he sees something interesting. This is a boy that needs exercise. He can be a couch potato, but only after he has some exercise. Balls are an absolute favorite of his and he LOVES to play ball. Anubis/Tony needs a home without kitties or small dogs. He has done well in his foster home with the other dogs (greyhounds and non-greyhounds, all large), although he has to be reminded to 'calm' every now and then as he can spin up easily. He can be a bit of a talker when he wants something or wants to tell you something. He and his foster mom have quite the conversations; he is just a hoot! Anubis/Tony needs a home with a yard to play in and someone who wants to walk him. We do not recommend him for an apartment/condo. He's quite playful, loving and an absolute cutie! We do not recommend him for the first time dog owner. He respects authority and knows several commands and is always eager to please you. He also needs a home with a canine companion. Some of our volunteers are working on training with him and he is learning fast. Kegan is very strong and tall. He is a fun, fun dog and with some more obedience training and rules enforced he will be a wonderful companion. Kennel Update: Kegan loves to please you and responds well to praise and guidance. His manners are greatly improving and he is a wonderful boy! He loves to play and is very affectionate. Foster Home Update: Kegan is very good in the house and just about has the dog door down. His leash manners are improving greatly and most of the time he walks very well on leash. He loves to play with the toys! Kegan does well with all the other dogs in his foster home, both greyhound and non-greyhound (all large). Kegan responds well to praise and once he understands what you expect of him, he is very obedient. Kegan really needs a home with a yard and a more active home.
