Baron likes to ride in the car and is good on a leash. He does not have separation anxiety and is a good eater. At this point he is doing well with the children in the foster home but due to his shyness he would probably do best in a home with kids 5 years and older. With continued encouragement and patience, Baron will blossom into a wonderful companion.

He is still learning about life inside the home and would do best in a home with another confident dog from which to take his cues. Copper does not startle easily when awake, however he is still learning to not startle when asleep and for this reason would be best suited to live with older children (10+). Copper loves people, mealtime, walks and squeaky toys-in that order. Copper has been to the doggie sitter with two resident cats and did very well with them. He knows a few commands including down, wait and give.

Comments: For the most part, Redman is a sweet, fun boy with a sense of humor and a zest for life. He's quite the kisser when he feels comfortable with people in his environment. Sometimes, he's confident and other times he's quite shy and timid.

Redman has an internal macho meter when it comes to men. If he senses that you're coming on a bit too strong or if he senses you don't fit in his comfort zone, he backs away. Other men are just fine as far as he's concerned. He's OK with the men in his foster family but he does not want to be crowded in or hovered over by them or anyone, for that matter. Redman has food allergies which are easily solved with duck & potato food.

Redman might do best with women or a family with a gentle soul in the male of the house with no small children or kitties. He would do best with a canine buddy and a family that has someone around most of the time.

Comments: Slim is a handsome, outgoing, friendly boy. He has a wonderful outgoing personality and loves to play or just be with you. Slim was very nice and laid back in the car but he was quite excited and curious in the house during his kitty test. I’ve never seen one want to sniff so much! He was pretty intense with everything he checked out including the kitty. He didn’t appear to have a prey instinct but would notice the kitty and want to sniff him every time he saw him. He responded pretty well to “no kitties” so we would say trainable but would like to say with an experienced owner or maybe an assertive cat. Slim will sit for treats and meals. Excellent walker on leash. Great boy!

He has been off of the Proin for several months and has had no problems. TJ knows sit, stay, back, lay down and come commands.
