Chris Nooney, if you can help in any way.
Remember, many hands make light work.
greyhound mixes are welcome at the picnic. Greyhound close cousins
(e.g. Podencas, galgos, etc.) that are adult greyhound sized are
also welcome (no puppies and no dogs smaller than adult sized
greyhounds). ALL dogs must be muzzled (no exceptions). You need to
know your dog (including full blooded greyhounds). If your dog is
not good in large groups, is overly shy and likely to be packed upon
by other more confident dogs, is not usually well liked by
greyhounds or other dogs, or is aggressive towards other dogs, etc.,
please do not bring your dog to the picnic. We will have some
crates available in the Training Room for those dogs that are not
compatible with the group should the owners wish to stay at the
event. Please note that any dogs not getting along with other dogs
or that cause a problem with any of the other dogs will immediately
be asked to leave. Thank you for using your good judgement and for
keeping the event enjoyable and safe for all attendees.
Please keep your dog
leashed (except in the dog park) and scoop after your dog. Muzzles
are a must have! Do not park in the circle in front of the kennel.
GPI does not own the property across from the kennel, so please do
not block their access or park in their yard. You can park on the
grassy area near the street (west side of the kennel), in the
parking lot in front of the kennel, and on the gravel area next to
the little house. There are also a couple of parking spots in the
grass near the little house. Please don't walk your dogs in the next
door neighbor's area. Thanks for your cooperation.
