Faye is the most well-behaved lady you will ever meet. Everyone who meets this lady just LOVES her!!!

Faye is a brood mom and is coming to GPI with the dog load from Arizona on February 20th. We’d love to put this sweet, sweet girl into her forever home as soon as possible once she arrives.

Here’s some information about Faye from her current foster mom in Arizona:

Faye is comfortable in most any situation. She walks well on leash, has an always wagging tail, has not had a single accident in the house, and is not destructive. She roaches every day and is just a sweetheart. And check out those eyes – they will just melt your heart!!

She has no food or space aggression and in the limited time she’s been around children, has done fine with them. The youngest child she has been around was about 3 years old.

She seamlessly adjusted to her foster mom’s schedule and is a very easy dog. Her foster mom says she’s the easiest dog she’s ever known. She even taught herself how to use the dog door within two days.

Faye is food motivated and absolutely loves peanut butter. She has no food aggression and will investigate everyone’s bowls if you let her.

She loves stuffies but hasn't destroyed any of them. She knows 'go lay down' and 'quiet'... she is somewhat of a talker.

She has no fear of shiny floors. Her foster mom is still working on her long nails, but they are getting there.

Faye is very people oriented. She has shown no signs of separation anxiety, but she does live in a home with two other greys and has never been an only dog. Her foster mom thinks she would be happier in a home with a canine companion.

Car rides are still a learning thing for Faye and she has a tendency to stand, but with a little more practice we’re sure she’ll get better and more comfortable.

Being a more mature lady, Faye is on glucosamine and fish oil supplements.

Faye needs a home without kitties or small dogs and she cannot be trusted with small dogs out on her walks. She lives in her foster home now with two other greyhounds and does just fine. She loves to play with her foster mom’s female grey (runs zoomies with her) and she snuggles with both of them every night (even her foster mom’s grumpy gus lets Faye cuddle with him).

If you didn't know Faye was almost 8, you'd never guess it. This little girl is a puppy at heart, but she is also very mellow. :)

Faye has already been vetted and is ready to go. Faye has her own jammies that will go with her as well as a bag of goodies. Her foster mom would love to adopt this girl herself, but unfortunately life circumstances don’t allow it. Her foster mom would love it if her forever home would stay in touch.

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting this sweetheart, please contact Moira at fastpaws@centurytel.net
