- BC GPI Family Picnic - Join us Sept 14th, 11AM-3PM for our GPI picnic at the Dog Ranch located at 21980A – 8th Ave, Langley, BC. The Dog Ranch has a fully fenced-in area so our greyhounds can run off-leash, muzzled, of course.  Bring your picnic lunch, blankets, poop bags and let's have some fun! - Donate Now through Network for Good - GPI is now registered with Network for Good for receiving donations from on-line sources. Just click the link above or the Network for Good image below for more information.

- Kennel Corner - Hern Greyt Works is complete and in operation.  We received our first dog load on Saturday, July 12th.  Click the link and check out all the progress updates starting from the June 2007 groundbreaking to the July 12th dog load.

- Where will we be this weekend? - Come meet the greyhounds at one of our meet and greets at a location near you.

- Dog of the Month - Scrapper is an affectionate and very loving, friendly boy. He is a leaner and loves to nuzzle. Scrapper loves everyone ...kids of any age, dogs of all breeds and sizes and cats. Do you have room in your heart for this great senior boy? 

- Needed Kennel Items - Folks always ask what we need for the dogs at Hern Greyt Works. Things we always need: Blankets and quilts. 
Here is a list of the current items we need at our kennel:
- Bottles of bleach
- Stamps (42 cents or "Forever" stamps)
- White 8 1/2" X 11" copy paper
- Canned dog food (Kirkland or premium brand, no grocery store brands)
- Missing Link
- Paper towel holder for kitchen area

To find a loving and secure home for every retired racing greyhound who comes into the care of Greyhound Pets, Inc. and to educate the public on the benefits of having a greyhound as a family companion.

Greyhound Pets, Inc. is a section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1985 by John Hern. While being supported entirely by donations and volunteer service, GPI has placed over 4,800 Greyhounds in homes throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southwestern Canada. Those outside of GPI's service area who are interested in the rewarding experience of being a greyhound adopter may contact a local greyhound adoption group through The Greyhound Project Inc.

Members, Volunteers, Adopters: If you have a new address, changes in your phone or email contact information, or if you need a new GPI tag for your hound; send that information to GPI via GPI's mailing address above or call the 800# listed above and give the info to the person who answers. For new tags, a donation to cover mailing and processing would be appreciated.

Any adopter who cannot keep their greyhound for any reason, please contact the appropriate regional VP.
