- Gifting Tree - Check out our newly completed Gifting Tree. It's beautiful and donors are recognized with an engraved greyhound. Click the image or link for more information.

- Bainbridge Island 4th of July Celebration - Please join us for the 42nd annual Grand Old Fourth of July, dubbed "The Zaniest Small Town Parade in America" (by the press in the 60's), with a street fair, carnival, live music, antique car show, food, relay races, historic baseball game ... all this and more. Booth at Town & Country, 343 Winslow Way E, Bainbridge Isle, WA 98110. Parade starts at 1pm from Bainbridge Island High School. Contact Steven Facer for more info and if you can participate. For more events, please see our Events page or Calendar page.

- Dog of the Month - Flash is our July Dog of the Month. He's a gentle soul. He is playful and very affectionate. He’s good on a leash and a great car rider. Returned through no fault of his own, he's looking for love again.  Could it be with you and your family?  Check him out and see.

- Sponsor a Dog - If you can't adopt a greyhound, you may find that sponsoring a greyhound through Greyhound Pets, Inc. will be your next best rewarding experience. For more information about sponsorship, click link or the "Sponsor Me" graphic.

- GPI Goes Green for Greyhounds - KING5's news segment about our kennel, Hern Greyt Works and what we do best - greyhound adoption.

- Needed Kennel Items - Folks always ask what we need for the dogs at Hern Greyt Works. Things we always need: Blankets, quilts and treats for the dogs (preferably the Kirkland biscuits)
Here is a list of the current items we need at our kennel:
- Vinegar
- Kirkland fish oil supplements
- Canned pumpkin
- Bottles of bleach
- Stamps (44 cents or "Forever" stamps)
