Legend, in front of the fire place with a basket of his toys.
Due to complications from Canine Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome, Noble Legend crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, November 27, 2003. Legend was born April 10, 1990 and came into our hearts in February 1994. He was our first greyhound and quickly became the joy of our lives. Legend made us better people. Legend so thoroughly enjoyed retirement, taking over every soft place in the house. He loved long walks, a good bone and getting his back scratched. I know that he is running free and remembering every good time we had, from Seattle to Boise.
Canine Cognitive Dysfunction is an insidious disease, robbing our beloved dogs of their memories. Legend no longer knew who we were but we will always remember and love him so very much. Give your dog a hug and whisper in their ear, "I love you!"
While Legend had many nicknames, my favorite was Big Guy. So, good night, Big Guy - we love you and miss you!
