GPI SPA DAY 12/16 – NEW PROCESS, PLEASE READ!

Once again it’s time for SPA DAY!

What hound wouldn’t want to look their best for all of those holiday photos they’ll be prominently featured in? This Sunday the 16th we’ll be open for baths & nail trims between 1:30pm and 3:30pm, rain or shine (but probably rain).

The kennel is pretty well packed at the moment and we aren’t going to have as much space as we usually do, so we’re going to try something new. If you’re planning to bring your pup(s) in for a bath, we have a new signup sheet here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080549aaac2ca0ff2-spaday

Please reserve *one slot for each hound* you’re bringing in for a bath or the bath & nails package, and plan to arrive during your reserved time slot. No signup is necessary if you’re only having nails done – arrive whenever. This is the first time we’re trying this and we can’t guarantee that we’ll get to you right when you arrive, but we’re hoping it will help spread things out across the afternoon. Please bear with us if it gets crazy! If you have any questions or run into problems with the signup form, please let me know at mike@forrest.name

Despite our space limitations we will be offering the full menu – bathing, drying, ear cleaning, mani/pedi, special treats, and plenty of pampering from Joannie Masters and her magnificent bathing crew. And as always, 100% of the proceeds go towards hosting our horde of happy hounds hunting for their forever homes.

$25 – Bath & Pawdicure Package (best deal!)
$15 – Bath Only
$12 – Nails Only

The ROOtique will also be open so come in and pick up some holiday gifts, a cozy set of jammies, or a new winter coat! Mary Greenleaf will be there with her beds too.

NOTE: Greyhounds & mixes only please! Muzzles are required at Spa Day. Please bring yours, but if you forget we will have a few loaners on-hand at the door.

Again it’s this coming Sunday (12/16) from 1:30pm – 3:30pm at the Hern Greyt Works kennel in Woodinville. Please let me know if you have any questions

YMCA Healthy Kids Day and Vendor Fair 2019 @ YMCA OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY Mill Creek Family Branch
Apr 27 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Healthy Kids Day® is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. The Y is so much more than sports, swimming and gymnastics, and a place for kids to hang out. The Y supports families in their efforts to teach healthy habits and keep kids active and learning, preparing them for a brighter future. It’s part of the Y’s promise to strengthen communities. The Mill Creek YMCA celebrates kids’ health and continues to teach healthy habits for kids and families, encourage active play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical activity.

To continue our commitment to encourage healthy habits for kids and families, encourage physical and mental play, and inspire a lifetime love of physical exercise and activities, the Mill Creek Family YMCA is hosting Healthy Kids Day® and Vendor fair on April 27, 2019 from 10:00-1:00pm. Healthy Kids Day is a free community event that helps parents to begin thinking early about ways to keep their kids both physically and intellectually active this summer. This is the largest event of its kind in the nation, taking place at over 1,900 Ys who are committing to taking on summer in order to address critical gaps in health and education.
