In Memory of Bill

It is with deep sadness we say goodbye to our beloved Bill who passed on April 2nd just 2 weeks shy of his 14th birthday. After 5 years of track life, Bill retired and was adopted by J and Tina and spent the next 9 years enjoying himself as a very spoiled member of the family.

As with most retired greyhounds, his main activity was lying on the couch or sleeping in the sun. When the mood hit however, it was play time with his toys or, if the weather was nice, he loved nothing more than to take a full speed run around his yard. Even as he grew older and the soreness of track life set in, he still remained young at heart. It was this playfulness and determination, in spite of his pain and health that made him such an inspiration to us.

You are missed, dear boy.
