Dearly missed by Margaret, David Rocket, TURBO!, Sawyer, and Woofie
“Damn, I could do something stupid about that dog.”
Malcolm had to wash out of two other homes before we could rescue him from his rescuers, but there was nothing stupid about bringing him into our pack. Malcolm was a fixture to the people in downtown Poulsbo for nearly a decade. He had a place at morning coffee with his friends at HotShots Java, and a barstool at the Portside Tavern where he was known to enjoy a hamburger on occasion. And everywhere in between, everyone was his friend.
Malcolm welcomed three GPI hounds into his home and taught each of them the rules of the house. Dog doors, table manners, and walking formations were communicated to each hound simply by his regal presence.
Born on February 12th, 2003, Malcolm courageously left for The Bridge with all of his grace and dignity on June 10th, 2014.
We love you.
